Paul Pogba leaves The Lowry Hotel but Manchester United midfielder faces anxious wait ahead of Sunday clash with Swansea

Paul Pogba has been pictured leaving The Lowry Hotel without any medical aide but faces race against time if he is to feature in Manchester United's game against Swansea on Sunday.

Pogba was forced to come off during United's disappointing 2-1 defeat away against Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The Frenchman seemed to injure his thigh when he went in for a tackle with Brazilian midfielder Souza.

He tried to carry on but was replaced by striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic after 30 minutes.
United manager Jose Mourinho gave no update on Pogba's condition after the game in Istanbul.

Mourinho, who is already under pressure at Old Trafford given his side's poor start to the season, may have to completely reshuffle the central midfield for the trip to Wales.

Ander Herrera, who has partnered Pogba in midfield for most of the season, was ruled out of the game at the Liberty Stadium when he was sent off last week against Burnley.

Given United's situation there have been calls to use Bastian Schweinsteiger, who hasn't played for the club this season.

The former Germany international was told before the new term that he would have to vacate his position in the first team dressing room at United's Carrington training ground.
