Kendrick Lamar To drop New album on April 14

Kendrick Lamar fans will have to wait one more week to get their hands on his album The project, which was widely rumored to drop April 7, will now arrive April 14.
pre-order went to iTunes on Thursday night revealing the new date. The 14-track set still does not have a title and is simply listed as “ALBUM” with a black cover.
Many fans were expecting the project to drop tonight based on K-Dot’s reference on “The Heart Part 4.” “You know what time it is / Ante up, this is here forever / Y’all got ’til April the 7th to get y’all shit together,” he raps.
Many took that as a release date. It’s unclear if Kendrick pushed the album back, or if April 7 was simply a pre-order date.
The follow-up to 2015’s Grammy-winning To Pimp a Butterfly will still arrive ahead of his headlining Coachella set. Lamar is scheduled to close out both weekends of the desert festival on April 16 and 23.
Last week, Kendrick dropped the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced single “HUMBLE.,” which is the only song listed by name on the album. “The Heart Part 4” does not currently appear on the tracklisting.
